Americans, what are you looking for in the next President?

What I am looking for most likely does not exist. Honesty, integrity, and a sincerity that no politician today seems to have, In other words-we are screwed.

I agree with the first person. Whether or not you're a fan of the current administration, the last few years have been FILLED with an American vs. American air. Liberals hate conservatives and visa-versa. I think that we need someone who can be moderate enough to get just enough of a compromise to remind the people we're all Americans and just want to live happily.

But on a more political note, education is something I don't hear the politicians talk about enough. It's important to me, I have yet to see something that better education can't fix. Unfortunately, elitist politicians (on both sides) see education through their rich eyes and don't see anything wrong. I'm dissapointed.

Same thing I was looking for the last two elections. Intelligence, creativity, integrity, leadership, It would be nice if the person passed civics (they still teach that?) and knows what their responsibilities are with regards to the entire population rather than just their core constituency. Maybe things will work out better this time round. How about someone that will make strides toward re-establishing our reputation in the world.

Honestly, I want a President that can unite the country, and restore our relations with our international allies.

there are other things that we need to do, but they will be much harder with out that first step.

I know people are going to say the war, but the fact is any candidate that gets elected will basically do the same as their opponent (Democrat or Republican) as such I am not looking at that issue.

im tired of all the bull poop with every politician, I know it is a dream but I want a president that will help all Americans with no hidden adgendas....we must stop corporate lobby.....help our citizens get medicine, food and a roof over their heads....screw all the foreign aid we just hand out....secure our borders.....deport illegals, or help them become citizens....why is it they all seem totally corrupt?

someone who will not raise taxes. someone who does not increase the size of our government, creating more bureaucracy. someone who would hand over national healthcare to people who know what they're doing, and who would be willing to allow education reform, but would leave that to people who know what schools and classrooms are like. someone willing to defend our country against those who wish to destroy it. someone who will take illegal immigration seriously, rather than give them more rights and privileges or amnesty. someone with a penis.
