It is bad enough that A, the person who committed the crime was not even charged. Worse, an innocent person (B) was found guilty of that crime committed by A. Worst, C was the man who was actually punished for the crime committed by A and of which B was found guilty of. Nowhere in the world can you find this terrible injustice and gross ignorance of the law or abuse of judicial power.

Hmm, let me see. Marcus Octavius strikes a man at a party. His host, Darius Menicus is charged with the assault, and found guilty. Darius's slave, Ternius, is flogged, forty lashes. Ancient times held the people responsible for what happened in their home, but their servants paid the price.
