Because things don''t happen in response to prayers; they happen in response to natural actions or the effects of people or outside forces. It rains because the relative humidity rises to a certain value and causes water to percipitate - not because some farmer did or didn't pray for rain.

Good thing come to those who are deserving and a person becomes deserving by undergoing a real change and real change comes from the light of God and the light of God comes from a ... certain kind of worship which in the West is called "worship in spirit."

Learn about this kind of worship here... it will explain the whole thing, and it will explain why people can pray all their life and nothing seems to change. It's a free resource.

Prayer is a science of Energy, Mind, Love, and Truth, among other aspects of attunement.

Some basic points:

1. Every prayer is an intention.

2. Every intention is an action.

3. Every action is registered in God.

4. One's faith is one's ability to keep the living word.

5. The living word is the cup of in-formation holding Light, Energy.

6. Keeping faith is a whole-body-temple activity, at best.

7. If one prays for something which one is unable to experience in an holy, grateful way, one does not receive what one asks for...from God.

There are many more points, but in general, if you are interested in how intention in-forms Energy coalescence, try looking into "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, "Man, Master of His Destiny" and "The True Meaning of Christ's Teaching," Aivanhov, "Watch Your Dreams" and "Men in White Apparel," Ann Ree Colton, and "Saint Germain on Alchemy."

Every time a person intends, an answer is given, by God. However, asking for something that is at a higher level of vibrancy than one is "at," is typically not going to happen.

A similar process occurs with dreaming or post-passing: every night, the soul leaves the physical body temple, and typically hovers a few feet above it, cocooned in a replay and redialoging of the day's and life's energy patterns.

To ask God to make one a better person, to protect one's soul awareness as one learns and dreams at night, is not often to go directly to Second Heaven. Rather, one's guardian angel and other Helpers may give telepathic hints, clues, to which the dreaming consciousness--the waking subconscious--has a slow learning and response curve.

A similar process occurs with e.g. a prayer for wealth. For most people, God and Hierarchy will bless maximally the lifestream asking for wealth. This typically occurs at the level of the Holy Christ Self--more divine Love, wisdom, Truth, is given to the HCS ("this Mind abiding which was also in Christ Jesus"). That's wealth. It may be demonstrated on earth as greater insight, God-harmony, etc....not as a "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow.

This is a great question and subject, however, what's been said and pointed to is worth pursuing and will provide an opportunity for education. Also, William Tiller's http://www.tiller.org and "Psychoenergetic Science," "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free and Wilcock http://www.divinecosmos.com and "The Field," Lynne McTaggart, and "Extraordinary Knowing," Elizabeth Mayer, Ph.D., help ground the psychoenergetics of prayer in scientific measures.

God Answers Your Prayers

His answer could be:

YES- God gives an immediate answer. He knows you're ready and worthy of what you ask for.

WAIT- God puts you on hold to test your faith and patience, but He will grant your request in His own time. That means when you are ready for what you have prayed for, it will be granted.

NO- What you ask for may not be according to God's plan. he knows it will only get you into trouble or cause unhappiness in your life. So he may say no in giving you a partner in life or He makes you fail in a chosen career. If you act against His will, you will be sorry. But don't lose heart, if God does not grant a particular prayer; be thankful, He has a better plan for you. Keep asking Him for guidelines to follow. Perhaps He wants you to dedicate your life for Him?

The Scriptures are full of teachings about patience; it is an important Christian value. Sad to say, that not many Christians have developed their patience. Most tend to lose heart when trials come their way. If what they are praying for takes too long to come, they turn to drastic alternatives.

This can result in terrible consequences; it can even lead to a loss of someone you love. Usually, it is greed that drives us to act against God's will. Our impatience to gain something immediately often makes us say that God is delayed in giving us what we ask for, but this is not true. God is never late nor too early to answer our prayers. God is always on time, but His time is not our time.

When we desire something, we should pray for it unceasingly. We should always be positive that God would grant it at His own time. The Bible tells us that even before you say your prayers, God hears us and knows what is in our hearts (Isaiah 65:24)

The Old Testament has the best example of a character whose fervent and unceasing prayers were heard by the Lord. His name was Hezekiah, the king of Judah. In 2 Kings 20:1-6, it is told that King Hezekiah was "sick unto death", meaning he had a terminal illness. God sent His prophet Amoz to tell the king he was going to die soon.

Hezekiah prayed to God. He reminded Him of what a faithful servant he was and that he had done everything good in His eyes. He asked God to spare him and let him live longer. God remembered that the king had indeed been faithful to Him, so He sent Amoz back to tell Hezekiah that He would heal his sickness, give him fifteen more years to live, and deliver his kingdom from the oppression of the Assyrians.

So the next time you kneel to pray for something, can you too, say too Him that you have been an obedient servant? Can you too, vouch for doing everything good in His eyes? If so, you can be sure that your prayer has already been granted.

Prayer, like Meditation, works on two levels.

First, it gives us the opportunity to realize those things that bother us through a medium in which we are more likely to be honest. It's easy to lie to others, and you can even lie to yourself, but it's not likely that you'd try to lie to an all seeing and knowing being.

Second, it gives us a clear view of what is wrong so we can move to make corrections. Prayer is great, but the Christian tradition states that God helps those who help themselves. So while I believe that small advantages are provided through prayer, it's up to you to take advantage of them.

Sometimes there are coincidences and people's prayers seem to be answered. It is enough for them to keep praying.

Faith without works is dead.
True prayer is with actions not words.
