It varies depending on your location. Astronomers just located a completely empty spot in space that is several thousands of light years across -- where not even microwave background radiation permeates. The temperature there is as cold as it gets -- absolute 0.

I saw it on the weather channel. The meteorologist said the temperature was a low of cold as f*ck, and the high was freezing your balls off.

Is there actually a temerature out there? Why don't they shoot a thermometer into outerspace and take its temperature?

several degrees below zero depending on how far u are from the sun. thats why astronauts have 2 wear those clothes, or they'll freeze 2 death in seconds.
