"Smoke On the Water."
The lyrics should be changed to. "Just three chords, only 3 chords, I only know three chords." LOL

Do you mean rhythm or lead guitar?
What style of song do you like?
If anything you like has any relation to Rock & Roll, "Johnny B. Goode" is a good place to start. It is the 1, 4, 5 three chord proggression that makes up the foundation for rock, blues, country, bluegrass, rockabilly, rhythm & blues, and their related forms. Therefore it is good for a beginning shythm guitarist.
It is also good sto sturdy for lead guitar. If you can imitate Chuck Berry's licks you will be off to a good start as a guitarist for rock, blues, country, etc.

PS: If you want to blow people's minds, show them how both"the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" have the same chord progression, then change the words a bit: "She was a short machine/She kept her pipe week clean/she was the best darn hobbit that I ever seen..."

Try writing your own tabs
Seriously it's pretty fun to write your own stuff
But a really good riff is Kashmir by Led Zeppelin

I can't remember who, but might be Hal Lenard or Mel Bay, or Alfred, but there is a book that is called a Three cord book, (great for people like me) who can't read music, but it has a variety of songs like Christmas, cowboy, Blue moon rising by John Fogerty, (love that guy!) or if you remember Credence Clear Water.

"Smoke on the Water". Every American family has to suffer through one of their kids playing that riff over and over and over.
