Are 4 stroke trimmers heavier than 2 stroke trimmers?

Question

Is 4 stroke more power? Heavier? (weed wacker) And why is it important to turn choke off when engine starts? For 4 stroke engine does it have separate oil tank? (dipstick)

They should weigh more as you have an oil reservoir along with valves and a cam shaft. If you don't turn off choke the motor will die whether it is 2 or 4 stroke

Well sorry to say there is no 4 stroke weed wackers.
If there were thy would be heavy .
A 4 stroke would require a oil sump and yes it would be heavy.
