accounting of finance which one has the better outlook

There is more demand for these two fields than for other areas of business.

In the early stages of your career, you can probably make more with an accounting degree (unless you go to a top ten undergraduate B-School). In the later stages, the degree in Finance will probably earn you more. That is -- Finance jobs start out at less pay but are more likely to increase through time.

Finance majors from a top school -- like Wharton, MIT or Berkeley make more right out of school than accounting majors.

Finance is MUCH more interesting.

depends on whether you want to work with people (finance) or numbers (accounting). A people-person in accounting won't fare as well as if he were in finance. A un-social person will not do too well in finance where you have to explain alternatives.

Accounting is probably easier to find a directly related job in since there are more jobs. Finance has the road to the higher money but not at the start. Many finance majors start very low in financial sales.

The more important question is which do you like better.

It really depends on what you do with that major. Finance will prepare you for a wider range of business-based jobs. I plan on majoring in that myself
