Well, because he is a guy, he is not gonna quit with the football stuff. With the Patriots and the Colts, the Patriots are 8:0, and the Colts are 7:0. So to a guy, this is a really big deal. Just ignore it, don't worry, football season will be over soon! =)

To NFL fans, the last two unbeaten teams facing each other is a big deal. Pro Football seems not to be your thing and that's okay too. You both should take some interest in each others favorite pasttimes.
If you can't deal with the game, find another friend and do something you like. The Superbowl isn't until about the first weekend in Feb. Then their is the basketball season and baseball season then wow, Pro Football again.
Consider learning a bit about the game. You might become just as big a fan as he is. At the same time, he does need to find more to talk about than just football.
Thats the great thing about dating. You get to see what someone is like and if you can or can't adjust to each other's passions and quirks.
Good luck.

I hate to say it, you'd better get used to "football stuff", if you plan on having a bf/husband. The majority of men, I know... love football and look forward to each game.
I didn't think I'd like football, when my first bf, introduced me to it. At first, I resisted, saying "this is boring .... etc. ".... but then I began to get into the complexities of the game, and became a real fan... give it a chance, ask him what things mean and to explain things to you.
If it still bores you, invite other couples over, to watch the games, and make a party out of it.. serve tailgate food, and have some fun....
Football season is not going away, so make the most of it...

The Pats are 8-0 and Indy is 7-0. The best two QBs in the league today play for those teams (Brady and Manning). It will be like the best two teams playing with the winner still being undefeated. Chances are that they will meet again to determine who gets to play in and probably win the super bowl. Also, New England is playing with a chip on its shoulder this year after they were punished for mid cheating (actually spying) and want to prove they don't need to cheat to win. They have destroyed every single team they played so far. Their QB is running up record stats, including possibly being able to break the all time record for the most TD throws in a game held by (you guessed it) Indy's QB, the pretty boy media darling and defending super bowl MVP Peyton Manning. His team won the super bowl last Jan. so they are defensing champs. It will be a game for the ages.

Why must you bring this crap here? Go away. If this is how you deal with boredom, somethings wrong. Now, the big deal is that they're both undefeated. Now, LEAVE!

Don't worry about it. I bet he'll be all over you once the game is over (if his team wins).
