Someone please explain this to me. I know half is Photosynthesis, half is Glucose or something.. I don't know actually.

I need to understand it Monday for a test.
PLEASE MAKE IT SIMPLE.

Okay, as simple as i can make it.

Before the arrow, we have your raw materials. You should know for photosynthesis to occure you need water (h2o), carbon dioxide (CO2), and light. (sometimes light will be written on the arrow). Your end result (after the arrow ) is C6H12O6 (glucose) and oxygen and water.

This is the equation of photosynthesis. Water molecule is split into H and O, and so all the O2 came from water on the left side of the equation. The carbon fixation step generates water, and so you have water on the right side of the equation. Half of the H from water goes to glucose and half goes to the water on the right side. The O from CO2 goes to glucose and the water on the right side.
