press the big power button on the laptop or computer, the same one you use to turn it on

Depending on what OS you have depends on how the computer restarts
for Example, you have:
Windows 95/98/2000/XP
Start --> Shutdown --> Restart (in the case of 95 and 98 Restart the Computer)
Windows Vista
Start -> Arrow right next to lock at Bottom
