NO RATS..JUST MICE.....I have no idea where Zack M is getting his information from, because these new De-Con No View,No Touch Traps DO work. You load the bait tray from the bottom (I used a little Peanut Butter)....Turn the trap lid 1 full turn till it clicks, and set it down. The mouse walks in the entrance, trips an internal trigger trying to get the bait and springs the trap.An internal plate flies shut under spring power and crushes the little Bugger. It even has a tiny red light as an indicator that you got one. If the little door is closed and the light is on, you got your mouse.... Then you just toss the whole disposable trap in the trash.....No Muss, No Fuss...Simple.

when you twist the trap to set it, it creates a tunnel for the mouse to get to the bait..where the bait is placed, is stationary (where the mouse's head will be). When the trap triggers, the part in motion contains the mouse from the shoulders back. A correction on warfarin, which is not used in these traps, is an anti-coagulant. The anticoagulants keep the blood from clotting but in high doses interferes with the transferal of oxygen in the lungs, so that it doesn't properly take place so the rodent drifts off to a permanent sleep. Warafin was used in human (may still be at times) but both for medical usage and pest control usage has been replaced by better, second generation anti coagulants.

I had one where the view thing said mouse caught and it was so light that I busted it open to confirm if there was a mouse in there or not and there was. They walk in to get the bait and the mechanism slams shut trapping them around the middle area. It must be just a powerful as a normal trap because the mouse looked crushed.

lol it doesn't spin around and make the mouse throw up to death,
actually its just a snap trap inside, it's just convienent so you don't have to see it when it's done.
They don't work though. The best rat traps without poison are the black plastic snap traps found at Lowes and Home Depot. Those thing have caught more mice in my house then any other wooden or D-Con trap.

I bought 6 of them because they sounded great. I set up two of them and it never closed, never caught anything. In fact, when I checked one of the traps, it actually had mouse droppings in it where it had gone in and came back out without being caught. I bought two no name snap traps and caught the mice right away. I would not recommend these traps at all.

At $3 a piece for a one time use, I won't be finding out. They can also trip without a mouse in them and it money down the drain.

They aren't cheap, unless you count the damage they do.
I finally called an exterminator.
