Mexican decent. How can one take pride in something they had nothing to do with? Regardless of what heritage my blood originates from, who I am is defined by my actions/choices. I'm proud of the person that I've become. I'm proud to be a good American. The thing about being an American, is that anyone can be one, regardless of where they were born or what heritage they are. Pretty neat, huh?!

I am part of the Human Race. Proud at times, embarrassed at other times.

I consider myself to be only of the human race, and I'm not exactly proud of that due to the state in which we have placed the world today.

In terms of national origin, I'm Italian, Irish, English, French, Native American, Scottish and a few other things. In general I am "white" and I don't have any problem with that.

Does anyone have a choice of what race they are come on. What are you like 2? If they love themselves then they are proud of being what ever they are.

In the interest of now showing personal information on Internet, I will just say, I am non-white. Am I proud of my race? My race doesn't characterize me. What I did and do with myself defines me. So I am neither pround of my race, nor ashamed of my race. It is a non-issue "issue" for me.

Rarely, my own race become an issue/consideration for myself, although it does appear to become issue for others from time to time - which really isn't MY problem, but theirs.

I spent slightly less than half of my life in one country and rest in another. THAT experience defines me more than my skin color and racial background.

I am not so naive to say there are no racial differences or to say there is only human race. But, at least, in my case, none of the stereo types seem to apply (according to myself and pepole who know me well) to me.

I'm a mix of western European nations, so I'm white, and I'm proud of that, I dont see a reason not to be. It's really what you do as a person, not your race that you should be proud of.

Homosapien...No because despite being the most intelligent beings on this planet we are still very primitive. We are capable of doing the most horrible things to other humans and living beings. How can anyone be proud of that?
