My fiance really wants me to do this once and I've agreed to go get my nails done at a nail salon.?

She has been teasing me and trying to get me to go for some time and I'm finally giving in. I work from my home so that won't be a problem. She wants to know how they should be done so please help answer the following 4 questions.

1. How long should I wear them?
2. What shape and how long should they be?
3. What color should they be?
4. Should there be other decorations or designs?

I've agreed not to look at the answers and she is going to take the best one and call the salon and book everything so that it will be a surprise to me

don't get your nails too long because it will be hard to do things then and it is easier to catch things on.
i would get the square nails instead of the rounded
and for the color just ask for the pink and white
it is similar to the french manicure but it looks a lot prettier
and it matches with everything
your nails might hurt a bit after especially if this is your first time getting them but that is completely normal and will go away
i advise you to be careful with what you do with them on because my nail got torn of and my real nail including half of my nail bed got torn out and it took like a year to finally grow back

If you are a male, the should be short and buffed. Now if your are a female it depend how comfortable are with the length of your nails. You should have the salon shape them square and pick a nice color that goes with your complexion. Have fun a the nail salon, it is always good to take time out for one self. *if this is your first time and you are a female, decorations are optional but not suggested*

1: if you mean how long as in Length, Get them very short, this will reduce the risk of them popping off. or if you mean long as in a time frame, if they are done right, you can wear them for 2-3 weeks.
2: this is a personal preference, I always have mine oval shaped
3; Again personal preference; But Sparkling Ruby is real nice.
4: If you want them to look "natural" them don't put any designs on them.

4. its better to keep it simple because with gems and stuff when they come off it ruins the nails, and the it makes your nails look horribly done

If your a guy keep them short and clean.....if u really want nail polish use clear......

My bf receives his nails executed with me each and every so commonly and it really enables the creation of his palms because he works outside! The salon will likely shrink your nails short and record them gentle, buff the surfaces, trim your cuticles, soak your palms and perhaps remove the calluses on them (once you've calluses), then grant you with an excellent rubdown as a lot as your elbows. i'd not ask for any polish or ornament except you're metrosexual and favor to placed it on. good success and characteristic thrilling! :)

This whole thing is weird... Ok, length...I'd say as long as you can still work with. Not too long though or they'll get in your way. Shape? I keep mine square but I don't ever really see anyone else with theirs like that...most have rounded tips. Any color works, get one you like. Decorations are cute, but more maintenance and they tend to fall off before the paint chips.

if you are male, don't do this.

if you are female, and you are getting sculptured nails, they can be left on until they grow out or you can have them removed at any time. If you have never worn sculptured nails, get them fairly short, or you will likely break them before very long. Color, go with what you like, no designs, they are tacky.

Wait is this a lesbian? or a man? If youre getting acrilic nails then maybe they'll last 1 week and 1/2.[french tip] if you want long nails go for it. [personally, i like short]
I cant really give you a color becuase it would have to go with whatever your skin tone is. since it is almost winter/fall, i would go with darker colors [they go with everyones skin, i think... like plum, or burgandy somehwere in there. no decorations...atleast i wouldnt get any...i think that plain nails are fine.
