Like, the top 10 citites with the most or worst poverty? i think Detroit is number 1

Youngstown, Detroit, New York, New Orleans are a few, but the south has many more. This web site has surprising stats about how the poor actually live, most own their own homes and have cars, color televisions, etc., as many are elderly.

Poverty is hard to measure so they usually only look at income not cost of living or other assets.
A senior might have a home paid for, no car, no debt and medical care paid by an old employer so cost of living is utilities and food they aren't hurting even on just SS as income and a small pension and some interest income might give them 20-30K where they are living well and helping others.
A youngster just out of college that doesn't own furniture yet and has student loans would be starving on that income.
