I hear this continuous water drip like noise in the attic above my bedroom. I went up and checked it, and found nothing. Is it the water pressure on the water pipes going up to my second floor bathroom?

This is a season of rapid temperature and
humidity changes.
You might be hearing 'creep` from thermal
expansion/contraction or wood swelling/drying.
By all means check carefully for water, but if
you don't find any, forget it.

Normally I would say yes, but with it being just past Halloween, no. It is most likely a ghost with messing drinking habits.

CHECK AROUND THE CHIMNEY OR ANY VENT PIPES
