In my opinion, it depends on the situation and your fear. I think some fear is in your heat and your mind, but if you want it bad enough you can overcome your fears.

Of course. Fear is merely a mental state and emotion. In other words, it's our reaction to things -- fear is not something tangible/physical in the air, like fog or clouds.

Fear, in my opinion, is a survival instinct. Some people are nervous about standing on the edge of a cliff - this is because our instincts tell us that falling over would be bad.
It's pretty much how cavemen survived.

Yes, fear is a mechanism your brain creates in an attempt to protect you from perceived danger.

Whether the danger is real or not is another question.

No... fear is primal.... without fear, the human race, and most living things, could not survive... fear keeps us from doing even worse things to one another than we already do.....
