And how funny was it when your dad was trying to explain to the state police how you really belonged to him after somebody reported it? Boy he'd beat the hell out of us after the cops left! Good times.....good times!

That's funny! Thank God my kids never read this .. They'd do it just to embarrass me!
Oh god if I had done that my father would have ran me over with the car ... Seriously.
I never went on vacations with my parents. Until I was older like 12, I went to FL to visit family and at 16 I stayed in Wild Wood NJ .... But as a kid I lived on a farm with my elderly Grandma so we never went any where but to the store.

LOL. actually, When i was 8, I was messing around in the back of the car, I got punished for it. So, we came to a restaurant to grab a bite. Right when we were settled, I yelled out as loud as i could "HELP! HELP! THIS CRAZY MAN KIDNAPPED ME!" And I ran into the bathroom. my dad tried to chase after me, but some people stopped him from grabbing me lol. Boy, was i in trouble then...Lol now he laughs about the whole thing

No, we didn't do the vacation thing.
I've seen pictures of one year going to Niagara Falls, but I was too young to remember it.
I'd love to have done the signs. He wouldn't have thought it funny. And we probably would never have sat down again.
Oh, but what fun, it would have been.

No I actually had fun on vacations with my parents. went to grand canyon, hawaii, best vacation was when I was 13 in Hawaii. we got to stay at the beach I even got my own room, went surfing and had a blast. I'll never forget it

Yeah that was hilarious when I did exactly that too.
But the following year they left me at Hoover Dam and they moved to a different state, haven't found them since. Shiit.

What I remember most is asking the truck drivers to honk their horns by making a pulling motion with my arm. They would always just flip me off instead....good times indead.

4 of us in the back seat of a station wagon we would stick our tongues out at people and jump up and down (yes I'm old) and it would be hot and i would throw my sisters dolls out the window (sorry sis)
