Yes, twice. The first time I was about 13 and I was eating breakfast in my kitchen. My dog was laying beside me. A white whispy sort of presence went past the doorway into the kitchen, the hair on the back of my dogs neck raised and she stood beside me growling. It was quite scary, but it did not feel like the presence was evil or threatening. The next time I was about 16 or so. I was home alone at my grandma's house with my younger cousin. We were playing in the back bedroom when suddenly the bathroom light turned on and off. We went to investigate, not scared until we saw a form on the floor, crouching in the dining room with red eyes. I grabbed my cousins arm and took her out the front door. We were barefoot and there was snow on the ground. It was then in which she asked if I saw it too. We described and saw the same thing. Nobody was around, so we walked to her other grandma's house, barefoot in the snow to call her dad. Of course, everyone thought we were nuts, but we saw what we saw. I have had a lot of visions in my lifetime, many times I have seen things as they happen or are about to happen. I am currently a realtor and swear up and down that I've shown a haunted house, though the times above are the only times I have actually seen the presence that causes the goose bumps. In response to the above user who said "Why would ghosts only show themselves to a few select people", I don't know that that is neccessarily the case. I have a theory that those with a low resistance to electricity can see and feel things that others cannot. I know it's hard to believe what others say they saw, it is hard to believe until you see for yourself. About my ability to see things as they are happening, which I think relates to the ability to see the paranormal, it has been witnessed and confirmed by several people that what I saw is what happened, and nobody told me about it as I called to check on the person it was happening to. Also, animals and children have a lower resistance to electricity, I believe, and it explains their ability to know whether someone is good or bad, know when bad weather is coming, etc.

I saw my first ghost at age six, when we moved into our new home. She was about 5 years old, dressed in Civil War attire (although I didn't know it at the time), and she was standing on our balcony. She was the first thing I noticed when we pulled up to the house. The second thing I noticed was my brother ans cousin, standing on the front porch holding knives. They had arrived in the moving truck about an hour before we did. They were completely freaked out by the noises, the voices, and the little girl they saw on the balcony.
I lived in that house until I was 20, and I encountered some type of phenomenon on a daily basis, as did everyone else in my family. And anyone who spent more than 20 minutes in the house, for that matter.

I have a ghost currently residing in my house. We catch glimpses of his shadow from time to time, I have felt him walk through me on several occasions. I believe that he saved my daughter's life. Yes, I believe in "Eddie", without a doubt.
When we lived in the old house in MS, there were quite a few entities there, including my grandmother, my dad, my son and my late hubby. There were a few others that were on the property, some I remember when I was a kid, some my aunt said finally just moved on.
To me it is just a natural occurrence, nothing out of the ordinary, it just is...

It's not that I don't believe in ghosts....who really knows? But I don't believe those who have said they saw one. It seems that they see only ghosts of celebrities, or very young people or those who died in a violent way. What about everyone else who died? They didn't become ghosts? And why would a ghost show itself only to a few people?

Yes, many. I also have seen other types of entities, but what you are referring to is earth bound spirits. I have so many stories to write but only writing one would take to much time because of the details. f you would like to hear about it email please.
