Filipinos rally only over a common cause. As I know it, there are several Filipino organizations in the very same communities. This is bad : This is like a mini barangay, with every mini barangay competing.

What can be done: Create an umbrella organization, where the "barangay heads" become de facto representatives, pretty much like a Philippine Congress version in the USA. Like a parallel congress. Then, the common issues can be discussed and ironed out. When this happens, there will be a major Filipino voice in the US.

maybe someone has to put up a non-profit organization for this purpose & make a website.

& then form regional memberships wherein filipinos of a certain region can sign up & connect with one another for business purposes as well as cooperation in every area of concern.

only when filipinos are united for a common goal can they truly help one another. why do chinese businesses do business with other chinese businesses or why do korean businesses do business with other koreans. because they understand that in unity there is strength.

Does it matter? What great injustice is befalling the Fil-Am? All the Fil-Ams I know are having a ball. They are doctors, lawyers living in big houses. If they're not doctors or lawyers, they are gainfully employed and enjoy the society of other Fil-Ams: I'm talking about picnics like few can match!
