There could be a number of reasons for a missed/late period which can be caused by the following:
* Stress.
* You don't say how old you are, but if you have recently started your period for the first time, it could be because of the new cycle, that is the irregularity experienced by some young girls at the onset of the periods. Their cycle can be irregular for months or years whilst it is establishing itself.
* Dietary problems eg anorexia, bulimia or simply poor diet (as you have said you're never hungry which isn't good, you need to eat a well balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegies).
* Too much exercise.
* Drugs - prescription and recreational.
* Thoughts and emotions.
* Sexual activity - especially when it is a new occurrence.
* Anxiety about pregnancy.
* Illness or physiological imbalance eg thyroid conditions.
Irregularity can fall into 2 categories:
1. Long Term Irregularity:- Long term irregularity can be anything from a cycle that varies in length from month to month to the experience of various abnormal symptoms, for example, excessive bleeding, no cycle for months at a time, very painful periods or ovulation.
To be on the safe side if your are experiencing prolonged bleeding or very painful symptoms it is wise to consult a doctor to find out what is going on.
2. Sudden or Short term Irregularity:- Short term irregularity can be attributed to any of the causes listed above, and are generally a one off or sporadic occurrence. These cases are probably not a cause for great concern unless you are experiencing pain or just feel as if something is wrong.
If you are concerned and have any further questions, I would recommend speaking with your Mum, an older sister or close friend. If your period continues to be late, I would recommend you get your Mum to take you to the doctor to see what he/she thinks could be going on. It could be nothing, but just for your own peace of mind find out what could be causing this incase there is something.
I hope this helped answer your question. Good luck. :)

If you are sexually active, you may want to pick up a home pregnancy test so that you can rule that out first and foremost.
Secondly, if you are young (you didn't mention your age), it is possible that your body is still developing it's normal cycle.It's not uncommon to skip a period all together, have a late period, have a very light spotty period, or have an extremely heavy flow period when you are young and have just started having your period.
A change in diet, the amount of exercise you do, or the amount of stress that you are under can also cause your periods to be abnormal and off schedule.
If you are really concerned about it, you should talk to your doctor, but if you are otherwise healthy, you don't have anything to worry about. If 45 days pass and you haven't had one, I would definately talk to your doctor.

You do not say how old you are or if you have been sexually active. If you have just started having periods it is probably nothing periods can be unpredictable that will happen off an on your whole life. If you been sexually active you could be pregnant in that case get yourself a pregnancy test and see if it is positive.

there could be a few reason...
1. if you have just started your period, it can take a year or two for it to become regular.
2. if it was already regular, stress or a sudden change in diet can result in a later [or even earlier] period.
3. if you are sexually active, it is possible you are pregnant.
