wear nail polish colors that don't match your outfit?
last night i painted my nails a bright pink color. then today i wore this bluish, turquoise colored sweater. the colors didn't match.
so is that okay? or should you nails always match your outfit? or is it okay to have bright nails that don't perfectly go with your outfit?

I would bother askin this because I don't want to be walkin around making a total fashion error. I was pretty sure it was okay I just wanted the opinions of others! Thanks ya'll! haha

I mean if you are going to a party, dance, any type of event yes. The color of your nail should match the color of your outfit if you are going to any of the above. If you are just running out doing errands then no. Nobody even takes the time to realize if your nails match your outfit in the first place. If you are really concerned about your nails matching your outfits try applying a simple color. Nothing to busy or bold. Try a black, dark purple, light pink (like cotton candy pink), white, or a french manicure.

If you're going to a formal event or something, it might be better to have matching nails, but on a daily basis? No haha. Day to day, if you look carefully, hardly anyone's nails match. No one has the time, patience, or money to paint their nails to coordinate every outfit. It's totally okay to have un-matching colors.

umm really there is no rule that says ur nails have to match... so i guess its ok.
but this is just my thing... i will never have non matching nails. thats not my thing. like i dont want a ton of attention to my nails, i want the attention to my while outfit[[nails included though]] so i go to the nail place and get french manis and pedis. its simgle, elegant, goes with everything, and makes your nails look really clean and polished... but thats just something i do.

Pink nails with a blue sweater is fine.
I wouldn't wear tomato red nails with cherry red or burgundy or plum, 'cause they would clash.

IT SOOOOO does NOT matter!! as long has you have a preety color it doesnt matter.
just a tip right now it's not BLACK that is in it's navy as a nail color it is gorgeous on toes and short nails...

of course it doesn't have to match perfectly! too much matchy-matchy gets dull anyways... its ok to have bright nails, it shows that u have personality and individuality... just paint them however u like! and if somebody has a problem with that who cares??

Um..yeah its fine...i just paint mine black (i'm not goth or anything it goes with everything and makes your nails pop)

i think it's okay. i would do the same thing! i'm not ashamed of what others may think because i like to be unique and stand out. but sure. i think what you did is perfectly okay!
