Elaine Paige's performace of Memory from CATS. At the surface, it just seems like an old cat telling about how she used to be beautiful, but there's something more to it. It also reflects the sad truth that, although we may have been happy, accepted, and well-liked in the past, one mistake can take all that away, leaving us with nothing.

Edited: "Stranger things have Happened" by Foo Fighters (you have to hear it to know why) , "When I go Down" by Relient K (this song reminds me of what I once had but lost, and makes me feel vulnerable and alittle regretful and has been that way for aboot a year), or "I so Hate Consequences" by Relient K (besides the end, where it starts "When I got tired of running from you/I stopped right there to catch my breath.........", that's how I feel now).

A song that played at the beginning and end of the movie, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." (Kevin Spacey, John Cusack) It's by kd lang. I can still remember the words and the tune, but do not remember what it's called, but I will get back to you if it comes to me.
AHA!! I found it. "Skylark" written by Johnny Mercer, performed by kd lang
