My daughter is VERY slim & now that she's in 6th grade, it's getting harder to find her "cool" pants that fit. It's even getting tough at the Gap & Limited 2 - which she's almost too old for. Any suggestions?

Abercrombie Kids is a perfect store. I was actually just there today, and they had very cute skinny and bootcut jeans in 12-14 sizes. They also have slim sizes which works.

Try looking at the misses or junior sections of the stores, there are sizes a small as 0 which may fit her better than attempting to find a girls 12 or 14 slim.

Hey im in 8th grade and am skinny and very short (aka-petite) for my age..and i still look at limited too for jeans so its not "too old". Seriously though, try aeropostale 00. They fit me fine and im a 12 in pant size. If she is short get 00 S. But if shes tall for her age (since most 6th graders are kinda short for juniors) get her 00 R -regular. Abercrombie Kids also has jeans that are very small and they have good fits. Think its hard for her age? try being 13 and 4'11"...pants in the kids sections really arent that cool anymore.

abercrombie kids seems to fit my VERY SKINNY 12-year old daughter the best. all other slims are just too big for her.

Try shopping at a resale shop...the prices are MUCH lower.

it can be expensive but if you go at the right time you can get kakhis and stuff for cheap. but normally jeans are 40.

wow, you WANT your daughter to look like every other little girl at her school? weird. but anyhow, I don't know where you can get skinny jeans since I'm not "hip".
