You will need to remove half the dash if not all of it to get access to the evaporator case, then simply remove the heater core and replace with a new one. If you have never done one I would take it to a shop and have it done. I own a shop and I hate doing these, they are a total pain in the buttocks.

I agree with will,We do several of these a year, It can be a challenge even for a good mechanic if it is his first one. You will be money ahead to get a mechanic to do it##### Give Will the best answer he was first,###

I also agree here, some are simple, others turn the car into the bane of my existence. If you have never done one before, take it to the shop.
