Basically..Thursday I got pink eye..
It was red until today..
And now it's slightly pink..
I got drops Friday..I'd only like to know when it's safe to wear mascara and eyeliner.

[by the way, I got infected by expired mascara...]

Also, I'm planning on replacing my eye make-up..so that shouldn't be a problem.

Oh yeah..
Ideally I'd like to wear my make-up again by Monday.
I honestly, have no confidence with out it.
Or at least apply a very small amount of mascara or something..

Okay, more info:
I still don't plan on wearing any if it's not completely gone
Only..if it appears to be gone..yet the doctor still wants me to use the drops for a week..
Is it really gone?

First off ouch not fun. Second buy all new eye makeup and label all with the date bought and the date to throw out and replace. Mascara 3 months, eye shadow is up to 6, Liner is at max a yr. I personally say as Ive been there wait up to 2 weeks after your eye has cleared to give the chance for furthur healing to damaged skin tissues before appling cosmetics again. If you really want to know try WEBMD see what they say about it all to give you a baseline on what to go on. Good luck though

Pinkeye [ conjunctivitis ] should be treated properly for 10 full days.
If you started treatment Friday, you must treat thru next MONDAY [ the 12 th ].
Do not wear any liner or mascara til you are done.
Suggestion:
Use a Qtip to smudge some shadow on eyelids along lashline. Touch swab to shadow only once on each end, then toss.
Eyes: good, makeup: safe!

Should be totally free of sign/symptoms for three days....before you begin again ....OR you risk contaminating your new mascara...and starting from square one.
You need to throw out any mascara used during the time you had the infections ...not just the expired one.

That is my best answer!

no don't. let the condition clear up. if you toss out the old make-up and replace it. you don't want the new make-up to get contaminated. also you don't want to use old make-up either.
