Write about something you know or like. It will be the easiest thing to do. No topics mean no topics. With a topic you already know you get the chance to improvise if you forget anything you can improvise a bit. However here is a link with a big list of topics, make your pick and just google the topic. Presto! You will have more than enough for your speech. Good luck!

Write it on something you feel strongly about. In other words, what do you care about? What makes you have strong emotions, what makes you want to tell everyone your opinions? Some examples are global warming, racism, seal hunting, increasing rates of obesity... etc. Just make sure it's a topic you already know something about so you can write it pretty fast. And your personal opinions will make it even better.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Make it on something you are knowledgeable about. Do you play an instrument or a sport? Do you like Texas Hold 'Em or Halo 3? Make it an informative speech on how to do something that you enjoy doing.
In my college speech class 3 different people did a speech on Texas Hold 'Em... like how to play and what different terms mean. That is just an example, but do it on something you are familiar with and you can't go wrong. Good luck!!

Do the speech on the topic of freedom of speech vs. the right to a funeral – look up the church group protesting at a solders funeral. It’s a hot topic and current and should spark some interesting conversations.

Some topics that you might use are:
Would you vote for George Bush?
What do you do if you do not have the time to finish an assignment?
Why is it important for us to participate in the green revolution?
How can you do best in school?
What are the qualities of a good teacher?
If you had a chance to do it over how would you change your life?
I hope that one of them works for you.

A topic that might be of particular interest is the value of time...
Think about it:
What is one second... in the life of a competitive swimmer?
What is one minute... in the baking of a soufflé?
What is one hour... in waiting for fire trucks to come?
What is one day... in the delivery of a newborn?
What is one week... in the amount of time before a speech is due?

I've had to do a speech like this before. Try doing one of these topics:
About your Pet
About your Best Friend
Your Favorite Vacationing Spot
Why you love to [Insert Hobby]
Why Dogs are Better than Cats (Or reverse)
