Is $199 to much for a 75 gallon tank for my uromastx lizard? just the tank, no stand, and no hood just the tank. A bit overpriced, Ay?

I'd say so. In my area one would go for $95-$130 depending on whether it had black or woodgrain trim.

Too much if it is just a plain old aquarium.
Sometimes, reptile terrariums are cheaper, because they don't have to be made with as strong a glass as aquariums, because they won't have the weight/stress of water.
They make nice reptile terrariums that have more surface area, so the critters have more running space.

I should think so! Personally I'd try and find one secondhand...I had a 125 gal. given to me because the end was broken out...fixed very easily with aquarium sealant and a piece of glass :)
I wouldn't ever spend that much on an aquarium, esp. if you don't even need it to be watertight. Surely there's someone around who has a big, leaky aquarium!
