I do, but its more because the holiday means so much to my wife and her family. I am a firm believer in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, as well as the fact that he was the very incarnation of the only true God in human form. But, Christmas came about when the Catholic Church had adopted the pagan practice of the Solstice Holiday. Jesus was not born on December 25, and, if you read the account correctly, he would have been about two years old when the Magi had come to visit him. But, most of all, he is the sovereign King of Kings and Lord of Lords who is worshiped and praised by the heavenly hosts (Revelation 4) and no longer some cute little baby we like to make him out to be at this time of the year. I have no problem with those who chose to celebrate it, but, if I had my druthers, I probably would not.

Yes, every single year. Why do people don't celebrate Christmas, and doesn't believe in Jesus Christ?

No, and I am a Christian. I do not celebrate pagan holidays.
Christmas was a pagan holiday that celebrated sex and fertility ... then the Catholics came along and made their Christian version of the holiday celebrating the birth of Christ because it was along the same theme as fertility.... and since the bible doesn't tell us to celebrate Christmas, I don't.

No I don't. Most of the "meaning" is lost... and Christmas' origin is rooted from falsehood in the Churches just trying to get people to be religious. I don't celebrate Christ's birth at any rate, because his death is what he commanded us to comemorate.

Yes, I do. I've been seeing so much stuff here about it being pagan that I started to research it myself. The Bible tells us of Jesus birth..we know it to be important, it doesn't say we cannot celebrate it....we celebrate our own. So weather it actually happened in Sept or Dec...I'm still going to Praise God for sending his Son.
I don't do the Santa thing though.

Yes but I would like an alternative to the commercial, materialistic craze. I'd like festivities as opposed to having to buy presents.

Of course!! Big time - for many reasons, the real meaning of the holiday being first and foremost. It's a wonderful way to draw the year to an end, be happy and thankful.
