Some animals need showers, such as dogs, but do rabbits need to be cleaned too?

I agree with C-girl somewhat. My rabbit does like to be dumped or soaked in water obviously but i do cup it in my hands and let him drink it and pour it over his back side and he enjoys it. Wonders where it is coming from. If i stick him in my utility sink to run around with faucet on he runs under it haha. It is not mandatory though. No soap. They do clean themselves. A little water fun is great.

NO. Rabbits can clean themselves. If you give a rabbit a bath, water might get into it's ears. Also, when they are taken out of the water, rabbits can go into shock from the temperature change. Only give a rabbit if it really needs it, for example, if it has poopy bottome (yes, this is a real rabbit sickness, but I'm not sure if that's the scientific name)

No!! Dont ever shower or bath your rabbit, they are terrified of water being poured on them....they bathe themselves.....i have washed him with a damp cloth once when he was sick and he had runs all over him self (sorry for that info) but if its necessary to wash him for some reason use a damp cloth.....

in the wild rabbits swim across lakes if a predator is chasing it and it has no where else to go....3/5 times leads to a heart attack and the rabbit dies....so dont try to make ur bunny swim or put it in deep levels of water....cause it will cause it to over stress so like i said b4 if truly necessary use a damp cloth

Rabbits should not be bathed, era. no longer except the vet advises you to for a sickness. they're self-cleansing animals. you could spot-clean with a humid washcloth or unscented puppy wipe. Bathing is stressful for a rabbit. some may even pass into ask your self or have a coronary heart attack and die whilst bathed by using a nicely-meaning proprietor.

No. Rabbits do not need to be bathed. They can clean themselves. Getting a rabbit wet can cause them to become sick. You can do spot cleaning of feet and tail area if absolutely necessary. You should brush you rabbit regularly to help prevent hairballs and control shedding.

Not really rabbits usually keep themselves pretty clean my cleaning themselves if you bathe your rabbit is should only be when it is very dirty as in covered in their waste very badly then he may have a problem if that continues and he dosnt keep himself clean then you may need to make a vet call or visit good luck

no-you dont give rabbits baths lol-but if ther ears start looking horrible or itching-get speical powder from your vet or to keep your rabbits clean from worms and that then use a spray for the hutch when you are cleaning it out-in pet shops but no washing

no rabbits don't need showers because they adopted from the wild so they naturally clean themselves. (unless you were instructed from the pet store)

Your bunny doesnt need cleaning nor should it because that can damage its sensitive fur. I hope you bought your bunny from a breeder and not a pet store. good luck with your bunny.
