Hi everyone!! I had a LEEP done Dec 2006, and my boyfirned and I are TTC. Is it true that the LEEP makes easier for me to become pregnant since they burned some off, and therefor thinner? Anyway.. please share all info you have on your experience or info. good & bad re: LEEPS & TTC.

I have not had a LEEP procedure done, but you need to be careful when you DO become pregnant, because this procedure can cause incompetent cervix, which can lead to mid-term pregnancy loss. It weakens the cervix and can make it so it will not hold the bag of water in. My water broke at 21 weeks and my OB asked me if I had ever had this procedure done in the past, but I hadn't. Just have your OB keep a closer eye on you. They may want to do the cervical stitching just as a precaution.
