This is an interesting question! I could swear that my earliest memories are from when I was about 2 years old. Believe it or not, but I can vaguely remember going with my mother and a friend of hers to the movies to see "Jaws". I didn't understand what was going on on the big screen, but I remember squirming around in my seat, and looking behind me at a young guy and a middle-aged man. I can also vaguely remember being 2 years old and being pushed in a stroller to our town's Bicentennial celebration in 1976.

My earliest clear memories are from a hospital stay in December 1981....I was 4 and a half years old. I used to say that my first memory was visiting my new-born baby brother in hospital in January 1980....but I really can't remember it!

Well, one I am sure of the age I was is when I was 5.
Someone told us to go play outside then a woman came to our house with a suitcase and she was the midwife coming to help deliver my youngest brother. When I saw that suitcase I told my oldest brother I thought she was bringing the baby in it...
I know how old I was coz my bro was born one day before I turned 5.

A dream ( I assume) of a statue of Jesus coming to life and me running out of the church to evade it as it chased me down the aisle. Story of me life, Father. We were living in San Diego CA at the time, and I was only about two years old. But I can remember running outside and seeing palm trees, which are found all over So. CA. The dream was in color!

Fifteen months old - looking out a car window at red and yellow wild flowers, followed by a picnic among same.

The image was in my mind all my life but I assumed it was some recurring dream. One day, well into adulthood, I ask my mom if we ever took a trip through a meadow with flowers of that sort. She looked at me like she couldn't believe it and then said yes, when we lived out West when I was fifteen months old. She actually remembered where, too.

Hmmm... My first memory is prolly digging in my back yard. I used to sit on the bottom of my slide, and dig a little hole. It sounds sooo stupid, but i would be out there for HOURS!! Every once in a while my dad would fill it back up, but i never noticed. I would dig with a gardener's shovel. The hole was deep enough to put my foot in, and go up to the middle of my calf, at my age now. We just filled it up recently... were remodling the backyard... But yeah so that's ONE of my first memories!
