Well for everyone who just looked at the names of the companies and answered, you are WRONG. There is a massively big difference, the Alienware uses the first gen Core 2 Duos with the 667Mhz FSB, while the Dell uses the second gen with an 800Mhz FSB. This clearly makes the Dell a better choice. Now it is not huge, but considering they are so similiar, just overlooking a difference like this would be a mistake.
