and it works fine but I can only see about 35% of the screen the rest is covered by a white mask. But today when I pressed on the screen real hard I was able to see the full screen again but then it clouded right back up with the white mask. But when I could see the whole for that milisecond I could'nt access anything in that area, my pointer couldn't click on anything. Do you know how I can fix this problem?

Just hook a regular monitor to it and go on. Most laptops have video ports for larger monitors, or projectors.

Sorry to say it but you broke your screen (internally, LCD the cloudiness is Liquid) Liquid Cathode Diode). I would check on eBay for the model of your laptop and replace the screen. The process is very easy with a small screwdriver.
