I was born and raised in Maryland and I was a Colts fan when I was a boy. Then the Colts left Baltimore in the middle of the night and I was crushed L. My life would never be the same! I watch other people cheer their times on but I couldn’t. I had no team…. very sad don’t you think. But one day buy the grace of the powers of being the Ravens arrived in Baltimore and a warmth filled my heart and my dreams were filled. The End

The Cleveland Browns.
My Uncle Roger took me to my first Browns game vs the Houston Oilers in 1983. He took me to get my mind of my parents divorce, I was only 8 at the time. While at the game I learned not to inhale the air around me while the fans smoked those funny smelling cigarettes. I learned every 4 letter world I didn't know already. I also more importantly learned how for 3 hours on a Sunday everyone of different races and incomes can come together without knowing each other-strike up conversations-hug, high five and have a damn good time. The NFL atmosphere hooked me and from that day on-win or lose-the Browns meant alot to me. Since then I have taken my own daughter to a Browns game (alot more fan family friendly nowadays) and I plan on taking my 16 month old son by the time he is 7 years old. For my family the Browns are tradition-it brings us all together, and I flat out love football.

I like the Cowboys. I'm a Texan and I was born in Houston Tx but I just never really liked the Texans. I like the cowboys because they're a pretty good/decent team, I usually like the coaching staffs decisions. Plus there is some good history to the Cowboys team.

The Dallas Cowboys. It was Thanksgiving when I was about 8 and the 'Boys were playing and my dad was rooting like crazy for Aikman, Irvin and Emmitt. He was a die-hard Cowboys fan so I became a die-hard Cowboys fan myself. I've been through the tough years when we had Campo as head coach and pot smoking Quincy Carter as our QB and I am so proud to see my Cowboys in first place in the NFC East Division and a hopeful for the Superbowl this season.

Well all my life I hated football - my dad and brother watched it all the time and i hated it. But then my boss who had season tickets to the chargers gave me 2 tickets twice. Once I took my dad and once I took my husband who is a charger fan.
I got hooked. Now thats all I do on Sundays - I have directv sunday ticket and I am a little obsessed. I get more upset than my husband when we loose or make a bad play. It's funny watching football has become a real bonding time for me and my husband these past few years.
I love football and being from san diego I gotta love the CHARGERS. Now that i live in texas I stick out like a sore thumb - But I wear my Chargers Jersey w/ pride cause I love san diego and we've got some awesome football players.
Go Chargers!

It's the Patriots!! Not because they have an excellent record this year. Not because of the the HYPE surrounding them. NOT because they have been superbowl champions.
THE patriots are my team because I learned about pro football watching them. (Didn't Have much choice was a sunday night bartender in MA.)
Once I learned what was actually happening on the field, I actually enjoyed watching football.
When I moved away, I said watch now that I am leaving the east coast they will make the superbowl. They did in less then two year!!

Chargers. I love thier explosive offense and dominate defense. They had a 3 game stretch where they played bad but it looks like they are getting it together. LT is the best RB in the NFL in my opinion. His stats aren't as high as usual but they are among the best in the NFL nonetheless. Antonio Gates is the best TE in the game and he is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. On D Shawn Merriman is a beast and Shawn Phillips is a great player as well. Antonio Cromartie is proving to be a great DB and 2nd round pick Eric Weddle is proving he will be a great player. The addition of Chris Chambers will spread the field and open the running game even more. I love the Chargers and believe they will be a contender in the playoffs.

Well, as I was growing up I loved the Bears b/c of Walter Payton and Jim McMahon. He was hot!
Then I met my husband and he converted me to a Steelers fan. We live 2 hours away from Pittsburgh and travel there often to just be around the fans. THey are great!
Then, 10 years ago I started to be in a fantasy football league. I now have a favorite team and i have favorite players from every team. I look for role models. Payton Manning, Jerome Bettis, and hundreds more...I love them all!

Seahawks!
I feel weird to just pick a random team in another state to root for, because one, the players change, and two, the coaching staff changes. There has to be something that links me with the team, and the Seahawks are the team for my state. What makes it even better is that they actually win a few games. I had to wait like 2 decades before they started to win again.

The Pittsburgh Steelers! They were an underdog team. Their rivals the browns taunted them in 1969-1970. Coach Chuck Noll vowed no one would ever laugh at them again!
Look at their stats in the decade of the 70's (when I was born early early in the decade and grew up in that time period, they were a totally dominating force. They have major NFL records now. They are a great team with loyal devoted fans
The terrible towel etc
