In their own minds they probably see it as a rescue but the laws of the various counties involved will see it differently.

Sounds like they were trying to kidnap children to meet the demand for third world children in france and other countries. No doubt, the children would have had a better future with new parents in Europe or America, but it was still kidnapping.

that's a kinda kidnaping but that's sure that african children would had have a better life in france! it's an actually hard situation because european guys had nice intentions but law is the law...
