It makes for good reading but the facts are something else! Yes, N. Korea did agree to disarm but, what did it do with the enriched uranium? It delivered it to Syria! They really didn't need the weapons they disarmed, China will supply them any day they ask for them. In return for disarming, we are sending tons of food & oil to them! We don't have enough oil to be sending it out of the country to a nation that is not friendly to us. We have people in this country that need food, but everyone thinks they should just go get a job, where? Most of the good jobs are gone from this country, they were sent to China where the people work in slave conditions! No, I am not happy about the deal & if everyone would think about it a bit more, they wouldn't be either!

I seem to remember that then President Clinton and former President Carter did that. As well as I remember they gave North Korea some stuff and then put master locks on the doors and then put up cameras to monitor them, so if they did try something we could run over there real quick. I'm sure that after all that tough negotiating that they did that NK kept her word. I would have removed the fuel myself, but I am not a great statesman like them. Are you telling me that didn't work? Oh my gosh. So you mean we had to start all over, hope they got the fuel this time.

Give me a break. The current bribe to North Korea is just like the bribe Clinton gave the North Korean's and it's going to work out just them same.
All we've done is allowed the North Korean's to cash in on their threat to develop nukes. Instead their insistance on developing nukes should be costing them. A blockade would be a good start.

To use your question in relationship with Iraq. If America feels quite satisfied with the results and with Bush's diplomacy in Iraq (almost two million needless deaths) and our nation continues on in it's delusion, then God, himself, will act and use people to avenge the blood of those whom we have killed! x1,000 like someone else had earlier said!
It's not only North Korea that the American people have to make amends for, but, also, Iraq and two million people murdered!

Yes...this is a job well done! Especially since they have the nuclear power and a past with the U.S. Kudos to President Bush and all the President's men...that's all the soldiers too!

Bush waited long enough before he adopted the Clinton approach, which he had formerly disdained. North Korea had, by that time, developed nukes, shot off a couple of missiles to get attention and threatened its neighbors. Bush deserves nothing but scorn for his belatedly dangerous abandonment of cowboy diplomacy.
