Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, or Dennis Kucinich, unless you like the idea of World War 3, which all the other madmen would gladly start in order to strengthen the Empire.

Out of those three, I prefer Ron Paul, because he would work to eliminate 90% of the federal government, allow people freedom, and put us back on a sound monetary policy. Not the insane fiat system we have now.

Everyone saying the gold/silver standard is dumb, just remember all fiat currencies in history reach their intrinsic value(zero), while gold and silver have kept their value for the last 5000 years.

I'm a moderate, but I typically vote Democrat. However, with Clinton sweeping the democratic polls, and the dismal preformance of the Democratic Congress, I've looked Republican.

Guiliani is likely unable to hold the Republican vote, he has numerous wives, which is not great for a right-of-center country. I believe he is holding the polls now because of name recognition and lack of competition.

McCain would be the oldest president ever, his star has faded and it will only continue to fade. He's peaked out at the polls.

Thompson brings something solid to the table. He doesn't have as much baggage and has some name recognition. He doesn't have the 'politican' look or feel, huge points for that. Even still, his articulation in debates/questions leaves much to be desired. Where he stands? Who knows?

Romney has some major flaws. Morman for one, but I don't even think that is a huge problem. He (and his hair) comes off as fake a tupee. A politican to the core, its hard to ignore the truth of his 'flip-flopping' reputation.

So the top contenders leave the nomination open. With Clinton running...the Democrats have done their best to seek a candidate that is least likely to win.

So! Here we have Mike Huckabee! Listen to the man speak and you will hear conviction. I disagree with him sometimes, being pro-choice and pro-civil unions myself, but his backbone is a welcome change from the rest. He was a Governor, which is usually a stronger background than Congress. I would urge you to check him out, his poll numbers have doubled in recent months. I'm confident that if he reaches enough ears he will overtake others which have led the polls due to sheer name recognition and financial backing.

And, I forgot, Chuck Norris supports MIKE HUCKABEE! :)

I prefer Edwards but I'll cheerfully support any Democrat over any Republican.

My prediction?

Clinton. She has a big lead in the Democratic primaries (so far) and I really don't think the American people will elect a Republican after seeing what Republican "leadership" has done to us over the past 7 years.

Ron Paul, because he is the common peoples choice & is not controlled by special interest groups.

Alan Stang has endorsed him also.

Hillary Clinton has the intelligence as a lawyer and experience as a senator and former First Lady in order to become a good President.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Hillary Clinton. She's smart, she knows how Washington works, she can get things done. She has good ideas, and really cares about regular people, not just about the rich. I like her vision for America. I think she'll make us proud to be Americans again, and will win our friends back around the world.

Hoping Ron Paul, as long as people nominate him in the primaries. The only one that doesn't fit Tigger's mold (which is exactly how I thought a few years ago).
