I think it not only makes them lazy, but also distant from the human experience.
People have gotten so self-absorbed, they forget how to treat their fellow beings. It's all about me, me, me.
I think technology takes away the personal touch.

Of course technology is making people lazy & making criminals better at their job. There is many pros and cons to today's technology, but I can do without a lot of these things.

yea, some of it is. I mean, the TV, radio, computer, and all that is making people lazy, but what about exercising technology, like the treadmill? that isn't making you lazy. So, some of it does, and some of it doesn't.

Yes..lazy, distant and ironically disconnected. Children have gotten lazier because of all the cool electronics that consumes their time. They no longer find the need to play/exercise outside. They've got their playstations, tv's, dvd players, cell phones inside. There's really no reason to go play outside in the sunshine.
People are more distant and disconnected because they rely on email, cellphones and such to keep in contact. What happened to spending quality time together? I don't even know anyone who actually writes letters anymore! It's all so impersonal.

It gives us more time to do the things that we enjoy doing. If thats being lazy then the answer is yes.

Yes. It's also making them unhealthier, too. So many people would rather spend time in front of the playstation than outside. It's pathetic.

yes. I think it is good that we are developing all kinds of new technology, but people really are getting lazier.

yes i do! if it werent for technology, people wouldnt waste their time always sitting and watching tv, we wouldnt have that dishwasher to clean the dishes for us, we wouldnt have these cars that transport us everywheres so we dont have to walk so much, and i wouldnt be wasting my time on this computer answering questions on yahoo answers...
