Animals are held accountable for their actions too! If a zebra sees a lion and doesn't run, it dies. If a lion sees a zebra and doesn't give chase, it starves. The laws of nature are far cruler than any laws we humans come up with.

We have social rules and laws to make our human societies run better. We know that we decide what to do and that we should be accountable for our actions.
Other animals are accountable for their actions in accordance with the social rules in their own groups. You've read about the hierarchy in wolf packs and how the alpha pair maintains order. Any social animals, including nonmammals, have rules of behavior.

Humans are unlike any other animal on this planet. We have control of our selves, morals, values, and make laws on how to conduct ourselves. Regular animals on the other hand act mainly on instinct they do not have morals and to don't know the meaning between right and wrong, very similar to a newborn baby which also are not held accountable for their actions.
Because we have the ability to control our actions and know the difference between right and wrong, we have to be responsible for our selves because we are aware of the consequences of our actions.

I even have yet to hearken to of a non-human animal murdering, stealing, or cheating (except you count style my cat "stealing" my boyfriend's nutrition). while non-human animals kill yet another animal, that's sometimes for nutrition (the lioness looking dinner) or to guard her youthful (in no way, ever get between a undergo and her cubs). As others have spoke of, canines who coach an inclination to chew others are euthanized. enable's bear in mind that non-human animals have not got the better point of expertise that human beings do. that would not recommend they are inferior, it only skill they are different. only because of the fact they can't work together in deep thinking the way human beings can would not recommend they should be taken care of as though they are "issues". to cite philospher Jeremy Bentham: The question isn't, "Can they reason?" nor, "Can they talk?" yet relatively, "Can they go through?"

You know little of human evolution. Look to the developed size of our fore brain; the frontal lobes. There is the evolutionary precursor to " accountability. "
Give all the " thumbs down " you want. Your question has been answered; you just can not appreciate the fact.
