I did once, in another city, state, my wife did once, also while traveling. I saw a women like her and, wondered why she was in another car, by herself and, followed her for miles. Then when she stopped at a convenience store, I watched her get out and couldn't believe my eyes. I wanted to get out and approach her, but, knowing by now this wasn't her, my wife. I waited and again followed her. I had to catch myself and stop, I never mentioned it to her.

You most likely would not know if you did run into them. People seem to have a distorted view of what they look like, whether that be good or bad. For years whenever I visited in a nearby town people were always mistaking me for someone named "Lois." Some were actually upset when I insisted I was not "Lois." Long story short, years later when applying for a job in that town, the man who was to interview me, when I walked into his office, was on the phone. He said, "just a minute sweetie." I sat down and thought, "Wow, that was kind overly familiar for a guy I don't know. When he hung up the phone, he looked up at me, smiled and asked where we were going for lunch. I just sat there dumbfounded, and after a few seconds, he then looked dumbfounded and said," Oh my God, you're not Lois. You look just like my daughter!" He then showed me a picture of this girl I had been mistaken for for so many years, and I didn't think she looked a thing like me. (On a brighter note, she was very pretty!!). So I guess everyone does have their twin!

No but I am told that I look like Sally Field or Linda Ronstadt either way I take it as a compliment!

one day I walked into a convenience store...and the clerk said...were u just in here??? I said NO....he said wow...ur twin just came in a few minutes ago...I was at the bank one day...and the cashier said...u look just like Bette Midler..(I can see a resemblance...I just dont have her nose)...that was funny!!!

no, I haven't. I've seen many people who look like someone I know, though. I just want to show them a picture of the other person lol! I did find one girl in a magazine that looked like my friend, and I showed it to her.

Yeah, I went to the mall and all my friends said this girl looked like me. I didn't see the resemblance, though.

well i was on a trip in pannsylvania and this one gril on a magazine cover looked like me.
