Yes. My dad bailed on my mom and I when I was 8. She later found a wonderful father for me. BTW, she is as close to a "perfect" woman as you could find. Our home was immaculate, I was well cared for and loved, she made a good income, and she was a very hot woman. My dad just prefered a version of her that was 12 years younger. Pig.

Fast forward 15 years...I have a great husband and two children whom I love unconditionally.

It's not a happily ever after story in the traditional sense. My mother worked hard to find a good husband after my dad (unexpectedly) ran out on her, and I worked hard to find a good father for my children. I think that most of the time, "happily ever after" happens because the people involved make a point of creating a good life for themselves!

Yes, but only I can make that so. Can't depend on others for happily ever after....that just happens in fairy tales.

Yes, I should have died as an infant and didn't.
I should have died in 1974 and didn't
