You CAN'T CUT something "OFF" and make it go faster. The internal coding of the computer is designed to "chop" fuel above a certain vehicle speed. The reason for this is primarily to save the tires from coming apart from centrifigal force.

It is not the most desirable means of limiting a cars top speed, but with out some throttle control to pull the throtle plates back and reduce the air flow, it is the only wway.

"Chopping fuel" electronically CAN casue severe damege to the engine if it is permitted to go on for too long as it ("chopping") removes the fuel from the air but does not remove the air. this causes a fuelmixture imbalance that will cause the engine to run lean, hot, and punch a hole in a piston.

camshaft design
valve timeing
fuel availability
air availability
fuel octain or c-tain
compression
stroke to bore ratio
engine tourque
valve springs
etc.etc.etc.

#1 you don't need to go any faster on the roads than what that computer will allow you to go which is usually over 100 MPH and you will have to get a computer reprogram for that car to do what you want to do, if you want to go fast get yourself an american car like a camaro, firebird, mustang or corvette.
