I noticed that Purdue doesnt have players names on their jersey and Maryland cp does. Why?

USC don't because it cuts into the salary cap. I saw a team the other day that had some of the players names written on the back of their jerseys with a magic marker.

tradition, never had 'em, never will, some teams only put the names on their road jerseys

Some teams give scholarships to thugs and uneducated children. They can't put names on because most of these "student athletes" can't read them.
