I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima. I think the vehicle immobilizer is on for some strange reason. When I went 2 start car, locked up. Is there something I can do to get key out & start or does it HAVE to go to the dealer 2 be reset? How much should I expect 2 pay if I do??

I can not take it out of park. I went to the manual and tried to turn it and wait, etc, etc, nothing. We tried using the other keyless entry and hold it down while turning. This is the master key.

are you parked on an incline?......pressure on the park mechanism may be keeping you from shifting into or out of park.....also be sure to apply the brake & pull steering wheel to center..............good luck!

This may sound funny but, try moving the steering wheel back and fourth while messing with the key.
