Wheel alingnment and balancing

Bad rotors

Bad tie rods

Bad steering rack

Only an inspection will fully answer the question, but it may just clear up with tires.

You wrote your own answer, but locate a tire/ alignment shop that has a Hunter 9700 Road Trust Balancer to have analyzed for angle, wheel (rim) run out, cord separation and balance.

Check the Tread on the tires. Make sure you dont see any metal on the tires exposed. If you do it can explode soon. Also do the penny test on the tread.

Your better off with buying 4 new tires at $60 each, then one of them exploding on the freeway.

sounds like you should take your automobile to a storage and get the wheels balanced. they could tell even if a) your wheels choose balancing or b) your rim is bent. attempt to rigidity by it, increasing it to 70mph. usually in case your wheels choose balancing the steerage wheel will shake for slightly yet in case you rigidity by it it is going to quit for slightly. If afterwards, your steerage wheel remains shaking it would nicely be your wheel alignment yet a storage should be able to style that out. It expenditures about £20 to get your wheels balanced.

You might also want to check your alignment. If your tires are worn differently on each tire then you can bet your alignment is out and that may be why you're getting the shaky steering/vibration feeling.
