Always remember that two sides of a triangle are together greater than the third.

here two sides 10 each are together 20 cms. and they are together less than the third.

therefore there exists no triangle with the dimentions you have given.

Hi,

If the base of the triangle is 60, then the other 2 sides must add up to more than 60 in order to make a triangle. All you have is a 60 cm base with 2 little 10 cm sticks swinging around on each end, at least 40 cm apart. Therefore there is no triangle, so the area is 0.

I hope that helps you!! :-)

That is an impossible triangle. Because the sum of any two sides of a triangle have to be greater then the third

10+10 = 20 is NOT greater then the third leg of 60.

you cannot draw this isosceles triangle. The two legs are too short to form a triangle with a 60 cm base. 10 + 10 < 60

Basic rule of a triangle, sum of two side must be greater than the third
