UC Berkeley or Stanford in CA
Columbia (NY) is the best education school in the US.
For those talking about the financial side, if all you're interested in is the money - go to medical school.

Not trying to be rude but if you want to be a teacher you can go ANYWHERE.
A four year degree and you have a job. Just don't go to an expensive school because with the way teachers get paid....you won't get you're money's worth....I know some people at a school that cost more than they'll make in 5 years as a teacher.
Personally I think teachers should get paid more but that's not how America works....we pay our entertainment people more than teachers, doctors, etc

Look into all the educational departments of the colleges in California. Pick the one that has the best program and the highest success rate for graduates who obtain jobs after graduation.
