the u . s . a . isn't taking Iraqi oil. That replaced into no longer the reason at the back of the invasion. Heck, if the u . s . a . needed their oil, it would have only lifted the oil embargo. Iraq could be oil wealthy, yet getting that oil isn't effortless. lots of the fields have been set afire while the invasion began, there are few human beings to be depended on with those wells, and Iraq is a shattered united states. The infrastructure ought to be superior significantly before oil production on a very great scale might desire to start. Our oil comes from our own fields and from Venzuela. Mexico additionally exports oil.

The destruction of Muslim Countries started right after the last supper.Mostly because of the Muslims themselves. So higher gas prices.

Higher gas prices bothers me more than the destruction of Muslim countries. The only reason this is is because it's more relevant to my day-to-day life. I don't know anybody that's being killed in any Muslim country, so it isn't on my mind, honestly. But when I have to fill up my car (which is fuel efficient, btw) so I can go to work to support my family, that bothers me because it has a daily impact on my life.

Thats like saying which is more important world hunger or the price of milk. Of course the destruction of Muslin countries is more devastating but it doesnt affect me personally in my life each day like the higher gas prices do.

In 1990 ( 1st August) when Iraq invaded Kuwait I was in Syracuse, and the price was 36 cents / gallon. I went to the cinema to watch Arachnophobia. When I left after the movie and the announcement had been made, the price had gone up to 62 cents! (2 hours) Due to pressure the price was lowered a couple of days later.
Who has made billions of dollars out of this ongoing conflict? the Arabs!! (well probably the Bush clan as well)

Since Bush has taken office the price of oil has almost doubled (probally exceed this soon).

We should be energy independent so all those nut jobs in the middle east can kill each other instead of us.

They aren't even connected. We haven't built a refinery in over thirty years while filling our streets and highways with a lot more vehicles. Most of the crude oil we import comes from Canada and Mexico. Quit trying to connect dots which aren't there.
