Bigsky you have my sympathy. I am no fan of Notre Dame, but I am a fan of Notre Dame fans. Not the media, or the subway goodtime fans, or the bandwagon ND fans but those that stay with their team and pray for better days to come.

Notre Dame. I just watched Charlie Weis decide to go for it on 4th and 8 from the 24 yard line instead of kicking the game winning field goal with less than a minute to play. Why? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY!? Shall we recap the season for any doubters? Keep in mind that we went 10-3 in 2006, made an appearance at the Sugar Bowl, and were ranked 19th in the nation. 2007 gloriously started off with a beatdown, 33-3 by Georgia Tech. Okay, no touchdowns, but we lost Brady Quinn. Have to learn to deal with that. Next week, whipped by Penn State. Still no offensive touchdowns, but it's a big game next week at Michigan, great rivalry! We'll show up to play. Oops, never mind, we got goosegged and STILL haven't scored an offensive touchdown! We got one a week later at Mich State, but still lost by more than two touchdowns. I can't do this any more. It hurts too bad. We're one of the most storied programs in college football, the fans are die hards, and we love the team with all our hearts. To watch this train wreck is like watching a loved one die of cancer. The ONE good thing about this season is that it separates the true fans from the fair weather fans. I wear my gear as much as I can BECAUSE they suck so bad. Nobody will ever say I wasn't dedicated to the cause. But it hurts. God it hurts.

even in spite of the indisputable fact that the SEC isn't contained in the precise 5 in the present day, does no longer mean the rankings will stay an analogous because the season strikes on. If Auburn or LSU runs the table and beats both a precise 10 Alabama and LSU/Auburn crew and beats a Arkansas that's contained in the precise 15, their capacity of agenda is going up and then i have self assurance they'll bypass previous Boise State and perhaps Ohio State to be a minimum of be wide style 2 contained in the BCS on the end of the 365 days. The voters could also bypass them up because they play a championship recreation contained in the SEC. to respond to your question, i love the equipment how that's, issues for the most area paintings out on their personal. and plus i love the actual undeniable actuality that the season skill a lot in assessment to the NFL the position you could lose video games and nonetheless make the playoffs or maybe win the large Bowl. You lose 3 video games in college you're out of a nationwide championship race
