its about a girl who lives in the sea and attracts men to the water where they die. Its a horror movie I think it came out arount the late 80's

...although, for the life of me, I am hard-pressed to recall ANY film from the '80's, which matches your description, the only two, off the top of my head, are much more recent...

...both of these films carry, as part of their plot, a beautiful and hypnotically alluring woman, who lures hapless men to a most gruesome death in the sea; the women either kills them, or outright devours them. Even if these are nolt the films, that you're looking for, they're still pretty damn good...

...check 'em out; most highly recommended!!!

They are: "Dagon" and "She-Creature", both of which were released in 2001...

...to the best of my knowledge (...and I have been known to miss the occasional obscure film, from rare time to time...), anything else before these two films, yet still resembling the plot device you describe, you'd probably have to look as far back as the 1961 production of "Night Tide", starring a very young Dennis Hopper...
